The Role:

Trinity Mirror plc is seeking to recruit a Marketing Assistant to join our regional marketing team. If you are looking to kick start your career in Marketing - then look no further; this role could be the perfect start for you. Working within the regional marketing department, this role is the ideal platform to develop your skills.

This opportunity is about finding the right person to fit the team, the company ethos and current business development opportunities available. Your role will be to work as marketing support, helping to develop our marketing strategy, write copy for websites, industry blogs and administer our commercial social media strategy, as well as getting involved in the development of our innovative commercial and consumer marketing campaigns where possible. Your work will involve developing marketing campaign schedules, copy writing and social media implementation.

There will be possibilities to get involved with numerous other production tasks, including graphic design, web content management, email marketing strategy and campaign management.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the UK's largest publisher of regional newsbrands. We are looking for candidates who have a passion for marketing along with a personable and diligent approach to their colleagues and work. A demonstrable interest in creativity and all things digital is key for this role, along with excellent communication skills.
