Job Title: Industrial Commercial Roofer (Cladding New and Refurb)
Reports to: Site Supervisor
Salary: Dependant on Experience
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
Other Benefits: 20 Days Annual Leave + 8 Bank Holidays + Birthday
Company Pension Contribution (after 3 months service)
Based in Wales, we work with clients across the whole of the UK. We're passionate about providing quality service and savings for our clients, many of whom have worked with us for many years.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Industrial Commercial Roofer to assist in the control of multiple projects around the country. The work will be predominantly recon over-cladding work for a major supermarket and you will be working closely with the Site Supervisor. The role will also encompass roof leaks, industrial gutter work and other roof related maintenance. This is a hands-on role which will be predominantly based in changing locations which will be reflective of the projects currently being undertaken.
Main requirements of the role:
- Ability to specify the job
- Assist in the build of the initial BOM and estimate on job requirements
- Review material and labour requirements with the Site Supervisor
- A proven track record of managing workload in a time specific environment
- Ability to react to an ever-changing workload
Education/Experience Level required for the role:
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Have an understanding of other trades would be an advantage
- Hold a current CSCS card
- Have up to date IPAF
Personal Competencies:
- Takes pride in offering a high-quality finish
- Takes personal responsibility for their action
- Supports and helps others when needed
- Adopts strategies to manage own workload independently
- Recognises changes in circumstances and promptly adjusts plans and activities accordingly
