Due to the success of our programmes, we are looking to continue our growth and need a highly motivated part-time Fundraiser to join our amazing team in the Thames Valley / North Hampshire area. The successful Fundraiser will work up to 20 hours per week from home and earn between £17,000 - £25,000 per annum (pro-rata) depending on experience.
A registered charity since 1990 the organisation has grown over 27 years, through voluntary contributions and the generous support of the community. The organisation delivers Life Education health, well-being and drug education programmes to around 70,000 primary aged children in schools across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Dorset, Devon, Somerset and Hampshire every year and is a Delivery Partner of an international charity that reaches over 700,000 pupils.
To be considered for the Fundraiser position you should ideally possess the following skills and qualities:

To be considered for the Fundraiser position you should ideally possess the following skills and qualities:
- Good general IT skills and sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Experience of using databases
- Self-starter who is creative and willing to contribute ideas
- Good organisational and analytical skills with the ability to manage own workload and prioritise
- Experience in the process and administration of funding applications
- Non-smoker, belief in and enthusiasm for the benefits/importance of a healthy lifestyle
- Experience in social media, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn
- Research and identify suitable GMTs/foundations.
- Prepare and submit well-written, compelling and concise funding applications including costings and key messages.
- Complete timely and accurate fulfilment of grant evaluation and monitoring reports.
- Maintain and develop relations with current supporters, in particular GMTs/Rotary Clubs.
- Identify and develop new relationships with corporate/businesses to attract donations, sponsorship, joint promotions, gifts in kind or employee giving
- Keep all records, including the database, accurately up-to-date.
- Investigate and implement new funding streams e.g. major donors and legacies.
- Work as part of the fundraising team in the development and implementation of the fundraising strategy and help achieve agreed and budgeted financial targets
- Help raise the profile of the charity through PR, marketing and social media.
