Our client is currently looking for an experienced administrator to join a fast paced commercial environment in Birmingham Business Park. This opportunity has arisen for a highly proactive and experienced administrative professional to provide support to their HR department.

You will be responsible for all of the information relevant to HR including record keeping and reporting and making sure that everything you do is carried out to a consistently high standard.

You will provide a supporting role to a team of HR specialists freeing them up to spend as much time as possible on high value activities; so, the role of HR Administrator is an extremely important role in the HR Team.

You will process high volume HR data information for new starters and exiting employees, ensuring that all documentation is accurately completed and recorded adhering to data protection legislation at all times. With great organisational skills, you will update and maintain employee information within their HR database and maintain paper based personnel records. Working collaboratively with HR business partners, payroll, operational managers and employees to ensure all paperwork is completed and processed prior to strict payroll deadlines. Taking full ownership of regular employee data feeds from the HR system to our client's other systems in the UK and US, including manipulating data as necessary using Excel skills. Working closely with HR business partners you will assist in producing any correspondence necessary to each case.

To be effective in your job you’ll need to be someone who enjoys paying attention to detail as much of what you do will need a high degree of accuracy. With a friendly and professional attitude, you will be adept at building good working relationships. You’ll need to be the sort of person who enjoys working and dealing with people and has a strong sense of tact and diplomacy. You will possess excellent IT skills but also able to communicate both orally and also via your writing expertise. You should be able to demonstrate that you can work to tight deadlines and that you’re not the type to struggle under pressure; you’ll have to be able to learn fast and prioritise your workload effectively. Ideally the successful candidate will have gained experience within a fast-paced corporate administrative role, preferably within an HR or payroll environment
