Summary

We are looking to recruit a competent Electrical Engineering Technician to engage in optimising the running and maintenance of the electrical equipment within our factory in Watford.

Main Responsibilities

The successful applicant will actively be involved in fault finding on production equipment, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.

You will be professionally competent and qualified to operate safely in electrical maintenance and repairs to drives, controls, 3 phase and low voltage equipment.

We are looking for a self motivated individual who will be proactive, reactive and possess a strong problem solving ability, providing solutions and recommendations. The ability to prioritise tasks/breakdowns is essential as well as carrying out root cause analysis and updating and improving documentation.



Ideal Candidate

A recognised electrical apprenticeship to ONC/HNC level or equivalent

Experience in work on 3 phase & low voltage complex process /manufacturing equipment

Experience of working with Motors/DC drives/Inverters/PLC's/PLC control systems/IT control systems

Manufacturing experience would be a distinct advantage

Experience in HV networks advantageous but not essential

Production Equipment

AGV's, conveyor systems, high speed printing press's, publishing and inserting equipment , palletisers, cranes,

compressors, chillers and AHU system.
