Leisure Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic, lively person to join our small, friendly team as a Leisure Assistant at our exclusive holiday destination. In an exciting period of change, Maenporth Estate is currently looking to the future and developing the guest experience to become a top holiday destination in Cornwall.

This is a varied role based in the Leisure Centre, with duties including: Reception, life guarding, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and providing first aid when required.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and customer focussed, looking to consistently provide a first class service to all our guests. They will often be the first point of call for enquiries and visitors to the Estate, so need to be adaptable in a variety of situations. Good interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to work are essential.

The role includes regular weekend and bank holiday shifts.

• Ability to swim essential
• National Pool Lifeguard Qualification desirable (training will be provided if necessary)
• Training and opportunities for career development are available for the right person.
• The successful candidate will be subject to a DBS check.

Job Type: Permanent, full-time on a rota basis.
