Product Manager
Main Function
Responsible for the development and implementation of strategic product plans for a range of assigned product lines and acts as the "general manager", with full P&L accountability for all activity associated with those product lines. The measure of success is implementation of the plan.
Essential Functions:
* The incumbent will be expected to evaluate customer product requests, lead product development resources and co-ordinate other functional areas of the business as necessary to achieve growth, market share, cost, and profitability and volume expectations on key product projects.
* They will also lead the product launch process for the assigned product lines.
* By assessing competitive product offerings they will help to evaluate and prioritize plant, custom engineering, cost reduction and process improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
The minimum requirements for this position are a degree in Marketing, Business, and/or Engineering, and relevant years prior experience in sales of fuses and fusegear, marketing, application engineering or product engineering, or relevant years' experience in a sales or marketing capacity with an electrical or electronic manufacturer
