The School of Natural Sciences and Psychology seeks to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer with an established reputation for conducting research of leading international quality in any field of UAV applications within the Natural Sciences which complements existing research strengths in the School.
You should possess a good Honours degree and PhD in a relevant discipline, and be able to demonstrate research experience and expertise in the application of UAV and associated sensor systems to the biological or environmental sciences. Potential subject areas could include, but are not confined to, wildlife conservation, habitat ecology, geography, environmental science and archaeology. You will also contribute to the teaching on relevant areas of our undergraduate curriculum and the development of our growing portfolio of Masters programmes in this subject area.
This appointment is part of a strategic investment in the development and application of UAV technology aimed at building capacity and fostering interdisciplinary collaborations at LJMU.
