Secondary Schools & Sixth Forms across the city are looking for a talented English graduate to work as a teaching assistant within supportive departments who aim to become a teaching professional in the years to come.

The schools have a proven track record of working with graduates, giving them the required skills and experience to become future 'Outstanding' teachers! Most have teacher training programmes and use this as a 'foundation year' to progress onto teacher training the following year.

You will work as a Teaching Assistant under the guidance of head of English, to support pupils in and out of the classroom, many of the students that you will work with will be at that critical C/D grade borderline. Teaching Assistants should have good communication skills as you will have to liaise between both students and class teachers.
