Salary Guide c £30K per annum
A Dispatch Manager is required for our furniture manufacturing company based in Leeds. You will be responsible for wrapping and shipping.
The successful applicant will be working hands on and will be responsible for the control and accuracy of all product being dispatched to the customer.
You will play a key role in the development of achieving right first time shipment performance.
·Production of key performance indicators
·Working with the production and project management team to ensure customer aspirations are met.
·Ensure that the dispatch department is well organised and controlled to sufficiently support production and the goals of the business.
·Picking & Labelling stock
·wrapping and protection in line with company procedures
·Safe loading of goods
·Help develop and implement procedures
·Dispatch paperwork and driver instruction
·The role requires that you must have experience in a similar role within a manufacturing business.
· Be computer literate and have excellent people management skills.
·Capable of reviewing departmental processes and procedures and implementing improvements leading to reduced cost and improved accuracy and stock integrity.
·Must be a first class leader / motivator and enjoy getting the best out of your team in a fast moving environment.
·You will have excellent analytical, communication and decision-making skills as well as a strong ability to plan and organise.
