Qualified Accountant – Training & Development 
Nr Reading, Berkshire (with occasional travel to visit London-based customers)

Our client is recruiting on behalf of a growing provider of accountancy, auditing, tax and business planning services. They are now looking for a Qualified Accountant to join their team on a part time or full time basis. 

Based in a friendly office in a beautiful location, you’ll have the chance to make a direct impact on the company’s reputation and enhance your existing leadership skills. 

As a Qualified Accountant, you’ll provide a high quality accounting service to customers and oversee the company’s Trainees. 

In this diverse role, you’ll spend approximately 60% of your time performing accounts work, 25% mentoring Trainees and 15% working with the Audit Team. You’ll also act as the company’s Money Laundering Officer. 

Specifically, you will: 

- Perform a range of accounting tasks to the highest standards 
- Play a key role in the development of Trainees and ensure their training is going to plan 
- Build great working relationships with customers to facilitate repeat business 
- Occasionally travel to visit London-based customers 

To be considered, you’ll need: 

- To be an ICAEW, ACCA and/or ACA qualified accountant (or equivalent) 
- Experience in an accountancy practice 
- Previous experience of managing a small team 
- A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle 

Customer-focused and articulate, as a Qualified Accountant, you’ll be able to build strong-working relationships with customers. You’ll also be self-motivated with a great eye for detail and will be able to prioritise your workload.
