Our client is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their small team, based at their Reading head office.
As part of their Administration and Accounts Team, assisting with the associated processes necessary to provide validity and accuracy of financial and other information used throughout the Company, these may include:
• Entering timesheets and expenses
• Entering purchase orders and invoices onto the company's accounts package
• Reconciling the purchase ledger to supplier’s statements
• Creating new projects on the Job Costing system
• Covering reception and phones when part time receptionist is not present, lunch breaks, sickness and holiday. to cover
• Any adhoc duties as instructed
This role will be best suited to someone who has a background within accounts but is keen to develop this further. Applicants must have the following:
• Sage Software experience
• A good telephone manner
• Excel experience
• Be a good team player
Salary: £18000 - £21000 + Pension
