Business Development Manager / Sales – IT Support and Services
Basic Salary Up to £30,000 – OTE £40,000+
Our client is a growing IT company with a portfolio of clients based in Central London.
They are now seeking a Business Development Manager to join their small team, in an exciting role that will not only drive new business, but also shape their entire marketing and sales process.
The ideal candidate will have experience in business to business sales and be ready to take the next step in their career into a Business Development role. Ideally your experience will be in the technology / IT or related industries however this is not essential as they can offer excellent training.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain a cohesive Business to Business (B2B) marketing strategy across multiple media types
- Maintain and develop relationships with networking and professional organisations
- Implement and maintain a suitable sales CRM system
- Generate leads by identifying potential clients and the relevant decision makers
- Follow the leads through the sales process to successfully close new business
- Build a strong sales pipeline and provide regular reports to the directors
- Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
- Plan for the growth of the sales team
Requirements
- Experience in B2B sales with a provable record of achieving targets
- Awareness of modern IT infrastructure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The confidence to develop and maintain relationships at all levels
- The ability to thrive when working independently and be prepared to perform all tasks relevant to a sales & marketing role
- Experience in selling to organisations of diverse sizes and verticals

- Basic salary up to £30,000 per annum
