Workshop Controller/manager

Established in 2000, Mobile Solutions (UK) Ltd is a family run business that has become an industry leader specialising in the installation of aftermarket and bespoke automotive accessories for Car, Van, Truck and Plant vehicles - for retail and trade customers. Based in Derby our head office is central for local and nationwide installs.

We require a full time workshop controller in our Derby workshop. Duties to include;

 Managing and being responsible for a smooth and efficient running of the workshop and auto installers, both on and off site. Maintaining workshop productivity and utilising workshop facilities.

Ensuring good housekeeping, security and Health and Safety within the workshop.

 Working closely with the Sales team in controlling the electronic diary. Ensuring parts are allocated, some stock control responsibilities and sourcing of products from dealers/suppliers.

Maintaining high levels of customer service, advising on minor technical problems and dealing with customer complaints.

Must have a positive outlook and be able to cope under pressure, to make quick and clear decisions and to get the best out of the work force. Working to time and deadlines essential.

The candidate must have experience with working within the automotive industry and have some knowledge of vehicle repairs/diagnostics and maintenance.
