The ideal candidate for this Geography Teaching Assistant position should be a talented and ambitious individual looking to dedicate themselves to a career in education.The school are seeking a graduate Geography Teaching Assistant who will naturally thrive in the classroom environment. This Geography Teaching Assistant position is designed for an enthusiastic Geography graduate who is interested not only in developing their own educational experience but also enhancing that of the students. The ideal Geography Teaching Assistant would have a natural passion and drive for the core subject and have the desire to provide the students with a comprehensive understanding of all areas of the subject.
About the Geography Teaching Assistant role
As you settle into the role as the new Geography Teaching Assistant, you will have the close support of the outstanding humanities department and further encouragement from the strong Senior Leadership Team. This Geography Teaching Assistant position will provide you with ample opportunity to develop and refine your teaching practice in the classroom and further across the department. You will be working with students of different abilities in your graduate Geography Teaching Assistant role. And supporting the students both 1-1 and in small groups of leading intervention sessions.
