Are you a Functional Skills Tutor looking for an exciting opportunity to join an inspiring environment?
Reed Education are currently recruiting for an inspirational Functional Skills Tutor to join a private women's prison on a temporary basis starting immediately.
Based in Ashford, Middlesex, the private prison has excellent facilities and an outstanding education service that provides courses across a variety of different subjects.
The service has a dedicated team of staff and a calm environment where learners are able to excel and develop to the best of their ability.
The hours are 8am - 5pm Monday - Thursday, 8am - 1:30pm Fridays.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Establish rapport with women attending the courses
- Plan, deliver and assess a range of modules across the Functional Skills syllabus
- Identify needs of individuals and develop teaching methods and resources accordingly
- Provide regular feedback and give individual tutorial support to enable maximum benefit throughout the programme.
The ideal candidate will have a teaching qualification (i.e. PTLLS, QTLS etc), and will have previous experience delivering Functional Skills.
The successful individual will be available to interview and start as soon as possible!
