An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Ledger Administrator to join our team based in Gloucester.

Within the role, you will assist in the day to day running of the sales ledger department, promoting a good working relationship between our customers, branch staff and the rest of the finance team. Inputting cash receipts onto the ledger daily, you will meet cash posting deadlines alongside accurately allocating cash receipts from customers. Candidates for this position will raise customer invoices and ensure these are posted correctly onto the ledger whilst resolving queries raised by colleagues/customers. Carrying out general credit control duties such as monthly statement circulation coupled with providing excellent customer service at all times.

With previous data inputting skills and an excellent telephone manner, you will have the ability to work well as part of a team and meet tight deadlines. The successful Sales Ledger Administrator will possess previous experience in an accounting or finance environment coupled with experience of using SunSystems. Customer focused, you will preferably be a competent user of MS Excel and MS Word. With the ability to build working relationships, you will be an effective communicator with outstanding organisational skills coupled with a positive can do attitude. Moreover, we are looking for an individual who is motivated with the drive to deliver outstanding customer service.
