Procurement - Cost Control - Permanent - Swindon - cGBP30k plus Benefits
Working as part of the Procurement team you will be responsible for managing the costs and sourcing all parts throughout the life cycle. You will work with nominated suppliers to achieve annual cost reduction targets and strategically manage existing suppliers to develop future purchasing strategies.
Within "Cost Control" you will be required to provide Procurement support to the business and promote and develop proactive supply chain management to improve supply conditions and to achieve cost down objectives.
Suitable applicants will need to be confident in communicating with various levels and departments throughout the business and lead supplier visits in order to identify cost saving opportunities.
We would like to hear from candidates with previous purchasing experience ideally from a manufacturing background with the ability to analyse and manage cost data. You will need to comfortable with using Excel and Powerpoint and have a full driving license.
