Tax Senior
We are recruiting for a Tax Senior in the Banbury area with our well established client.
As a Tax Senior you will need to have:
* Degree in a related field, ATT or equivalent experience
* CTA or a tax qualification would be an advantage
* Minimum of 3 years proven tax experience
* Knowledge of all personal and business taxes
* Knowledge of capital taxes (including capital gains tax and inheritance tax)
* Familiarity with interaction with HMRC online services and Taxation software
* Willing to work outside of normal working hours when required
* Experience with cloud accounting software such as Xero (desirable)
Details:
* Salary: GBP28,000-GBP40,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
* Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday
* Location: Banbury
* Duration: Permanent
Role of a Tax Senior:
* Prepare partnership tax returns
* Liaise with HM revenue and customs regarding specialist tax work
* Prepare and assist with specialist tax work such as ATED, VAT options to tax , capital taxes, stamp duty, national insurance contributions and share schemes
* Complete accounts and tax returns by liaising with clients to obtain relevant information
* Identify tax planning opportunities
* Prepare personal tax returns for directors
* Assist and train junior members of the team
* Record own chargeable time and ensure maximum recovery
* Generation and referral of leads
* Prepare income from property schedules
* Prepare tax returns for deceased estate and high net worth individuals
* Prepare capital gains computations
* Provide tax assistance to other departments
