Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a well established and recognised brand in South Yorkshire who are a hugely profitable and successful organisation. They are currently looking to recruit a divisional Management Accountant to provide the appropriate financial and commercial support for this part of the business.
Reporting straight to the Finance Director this role will take responsibility for the timely production of Statutory and Management Accounting information for the division as well as providing detailed forecasts and budgets. There will also be the opportunity to get involved with a number of added value projects to improve systems and controls across the division.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
*Production of monthly accounts and reports for the division
*Preparation of detailed forecasts and budgets
*Year end and interim statutory results submission
*Analysing trend and KPIs for the wider business
*Ongoing process improvement
*Liaising with external auditors
*Ad-hoc projects to add-value to the division
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
*CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified
*2-3 years post qualified experience
*A self starter and ability to use own initiative
*Experience of working to tight and multiple deadlines
*Experience of working in a PLC business would be advantageous
*Confident user of IT
*Good team player
