With staff of all ages and walks of life, a job with Mears has a rewarding impact on the lives of others and your own life. With offices across the UK, a job at Mears could be just around the corner.

We are now seeking to recruit a Contracts Manager to join our senior management team to oversee projects across the North of England. This is a great opportunity to work with a contractor delivering awarding winning schemes across the social housing sector.

Within this role, you will be responsible for the management of site based teams delivering D&B projects ranging from £2 - £10m.  Working with Site Managers and Surveyors to identify opportunities/risks, you will interface with Clients, design teams, local authorities and stakeholders and will report to the Operations Director on project deliverables.

You will oversee 2 - 4 projects at construction phase whilst working with the pre-construction team on one key-project which you will then follow through to site.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you have experience working for a main contractor as a Contracts Manager on design and build projects. It is also important that you have experience in managing schemes of £5m and above.

Within this role, you will benefit from continued internal and external training to develop your skills and experience and there are career opportunities for individuals looking for new challenges and progression within the company.
