HR Administrator - 6 Month Contract
Based in Birmingham (B7)
Salary circa £17,000 pro rata + Excellent Benefits
The UK's leading and best-known food on the go retailer are currently looking to recruit a HR Administrator on an 6 month contract at their Birmingham Bakery. This is a part-time role, 28 hours per week over 5 days, and represents a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and well organised administrator with a passion for people and previous experience with HR.
The Role
Reporting to and working closely alongside the Supplies People Advisor, you would be tasked with supporting the delivery of an effective HR service to the supplies function at the Birmingham site. Work will include…
* Support employee engagement and encourage fair and impartial employee relations across the site
* Provide advice and support to Managers and staff within agreed authority limits
* Maintain efficient and accurate people records and systems
* Deliver effective, timely and confidential support on all employee well-being issues
* Provide a holistic people administrative service including recruitment, starters, leavers and absence management
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be looking for an opportunity to further develop existing HR administrative skills within a busy HR environment. An understanding of the confidential nature of HR work and familiarisation of HR policies and procedures would be an advantage, as will experience with the new starters/leavers process, maternity/paternity leave, changes to contract, changes to salary, bonuses etc. You must be able to demonstrate a fantastic work ethic, excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload and work to deadline.
