Our client is looking for a driven individual who is passionate about customer service to join their Sales Support team and to work within the existing team to provide extra support. Ideally, the person they are looking for will have previous experience in customer care/customer service and have an exceptional telephone manner.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Sales Support                     
  • Order Processing.
  • Order Booking, despatch, chasing, eta   requests, etc.
  • Working with a Sales Support team of 4/5.
  • Day to day liaising with customers regarding Orders /deliveries.
  • Customer Queries and complaints
  • Keep a daily log of new enquires, where they have come from and who they have been passed to.
  • General & ad hoc administration/office duties.
  • Helping Sales Reps with their Major Accounts
  • Ensuring each order is dispatched according to customer’s delivery requirement.
  • Ensuring all stock is ordered on time, eta’s are met, invoices are raised, and all direct container orders are completed according to the customers specifications.
  • Ensuring orders and invoices are processed via their new IT system
  • Ordering labels per PO, ensuring each delivery is labelled correctly and dispatched.
  • Completing full order books every 2 weeks
  •  Dealing with all queries, shortages, and fines
  • Placing forecast orders
  • Training on new IT developments
  • Looking into credit note queries, example shortages, damages, liaising with carriers.
  • Stock allocations – dealing with ALL stock deliveries into our client. Allocation of stock in the correct manner, ensuring ALL back orders are allocated and shipped out asap.
  • Processing orders and Invoices.
  • Warehouse / Hauliers
  • Liaising with Warehouse Manager to discuss issues with orders / picking / discrepancies etc.
  • Liaising with Hauliers & Warehouse Mgr regarding issues with deliveries.
  • Day to day liaising with Hauliers Logistics team regarding deliveries.
  • Overlooking transport for major deliveries.
  • Overlooking the van diary and ensuring that cost effective deliveries are made within the drivers’ route.
