To maintain and improve efficiency of the plant and equipment through completion of the PPM agenda to an agreed standard, you will be able to respond to equipment breakdown in a timely and efficient manner.

You work with peers that include Team Leaders, Shift Engineers, Process Engineers and Engineering Managers.
Principally you will be responsible for the completion of machine PPMs to the agreed schedule and standard.
* Respond to breakdown repairs, working closely with the Team Leader on shift.
* Document all work completed each shift.
* Book out all parts and consumables as used.
* Undertake training where required.
* Participate in a risk assessment role across the site.
There will be an appreciation that the role will be on a shift pattern, the role may appeal to a time served apprentice to NVQ 3 in an engineering discipline.
Strong electrical and mechanical skills is essential for this opportunity
PLC and pneumatic knowledge would be advantageous, though not essential
The company is ideally looking for a person to grow in this role so, three years experience within a manufacturing environment is sought after.
