Finance Project Manager - Contract
Dublin
A challenging, interesting project has arisen with one of my key clients in Dublin. This will be working from their salubrious office in Dublin 2, with a team of motivated, experienced colleagues.
This is a contract role, which will require a Finance Project Manager who has a track record of delivery. The role is part of the EMEA Controller team based in Dublin and is responsible for managing the delivery of transformational activities for the Controller function across the region.
This position will work closely with business analysts, dedicated finance resources, in-country and regional staff as well as Home Office Controllers and other Corporate departments with full end to end responsibility for project delivery from project initiation, analysis, design, build and implementation through to the post-implementation and benefits realisation reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage delivery of transformational change activities across the EMEA Controllers team
* The management & the coordination of key project activities across the project life cycle
* Identify & manage stakeholders (internal & external)
* Develop detailed project plans in conjunction with project team
* Provide regular reporting to applicable managers, executive team, and stakeholders as required.
* Escalate issues in an appropriate, timely, and tactful manner.
* Actively participate in resolution of issues and conflicts
* Provide leadership to guide timely advice to stakeholders and recognising budgetary constraints and functional dependencies.
* Maintain project artefacts throughout the project lifecycle
Business Knowledge/Technical Skills:
* Candidate must have relevant project management qualifications and have extensive experience of project delivery with a minimum of five years relevant experience within a financial services environment
* Demonstrated experience of stakeholder management in a cross functional environment.
* * Experience in delivering finance projects across multiple countries and experience of change management
