IT Support Analyst

We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious IT Support Analyst to join an established, market leader in the retail sector.  Based in Amersham, this company is offering a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package.

They require a proactive IT Support Analyst to join their team responsible for maintaining the efficient operation of the Head Office, Warehouse, Retail, Web and Multi-channel IT functions.    

Responsibilities;

- Crisis manage IT issues relating to the stores, warehouses, web or head office systems.

- Oversee the daily performance of computer systems and servers.

- Monitor system performance, backups, available resources (disk space/memory) for key network server equipment.

- Configure, build and test hardware (servers, workstations, till and EPOS equipment) for use across the enterprise as required.

To be successful in this role the IT Support Analyst must be able to demonstrate the following knowledge and experience;

- Experience of IT Support.

- Specific computer systems knowledge relating to Microsoft operating systems (Windows desktop/laptop and server systems). 

- Microsoft business packages (MS Office - various versions, OpenOffice).  Expected area of expertise to include installation/configuration and use of packages to intermediate level. 

- The IT Support Analyst ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks under pressure.  Able to identify the business impact of support calls and to prioritise and escalate as appropriate.

- Excellent customer service skills and experience of working in a service orientated environment.

As the IT Support Analyst you must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and oral with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely across all levels of the business.
