HANHAM HEALTH JOB OPPORTUNITY

Hanham Health in Bristol is seeking to recruit an IT & Data Lead to work 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday (0800-1600) at its Hanham and Oldland Common Surgeries.

The Salary Range is £18,500-£22,500 + 34 days annual leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays) + NHS pension.

The successful candidate will be the main point of contact for all IT-related incidents. Duties will include answering the IT Service Desk ‘phone system, logging incidents received via ‘phone, email or in person and providing users with an acknowledgement, progress report and satisfactory outcome. The post holder will investigate, diagnose and resolve incidents at first contact wherever possible, gathering and analysing information to resolve technical incidents such as hardware, software, application and network incidents with the objective of restoring normal service as quickly as possible. A full Drivers licence is essential

The successful candidate will have up-to-date skills and qualifications and have experience of working in a Service/Helpdesk environment along with knowledge of desktop, server and network systems and how they interlink.  Knowledge of Content Management Systems and Website Administration, plus the ability to conduct basic administration and configuration of Microsoft Windows, Office, Server and an understanding of Mitel telephony system administration are required.  Experience in patient text messaging services (MJOG), EmisWeb configuration, NHS Mail portal administration, Lexacom3, Numed Spirometry & ECG devices and administration of NHS Smart Card management and usage, as well as knowledge of other primary care IT systems (such as System1) would also be advantageous. 

Hanham Health is a large Bristol-based practice, providing community health services in the eastern suburbs of the city, military healthcare to the Service population based at the MoD site at Abbey Wood, and at a range of adult prisons and young persons’ secure units in Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Southampton. It also has extensive training and research programmes, and was recognised by the World Health Organisation in 2011 for the quality of its prison healthcare services.
