Income Management Officer

Maternity cover for up to 12 months

Our client have an exciting opportunity for an Income Management Officer to maximise the income collected by the association through proactive rent arrears management.
You will be responsible for the collection of rent and service charge arrears and ensure that action is taken in line with agreed procedures and timescales, maintaining accurate monitoring systems and preparing reports as necessary. You will attend court proceedings and represent the association as required.
You will be required to meet challenging performance targets and lead on projects to minimise the impact of the Welfare Reform. You will also be required to liaise effectively with key external partners in order to resolve problems.
The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in managing difficult and complicated rent arrears cases and an understanding of the benefits available to our customers and the process for applying. You will possess excellent organisational skills in order to manage a varied and busy workload along with being great at problem solving and commitment to delivering excellent customer service. You will possess excellent IT skills and a current valid driving licence.
