Area Officer – Yorkshire, Humberside and North East England

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our newly established Member Services Team during an exciting time of change. As Area Officer for the Yorkshire and Humberside and North East Areas you will work closely with the Area Director and wider team to ensure that our member Colleges in the region are effectively represented and supported.
The Area Officer will make a key contribution towards the provision of effective and professional services locally, regionally and nationally. The role will support the Area Director in her policy work, and by organising/contributing to stakeholder meetings, networks and events both for our member colleges and on behalf of members.
To be successful you will need to demonstrate initiative, attention to detail and a team-oriented approach. Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills are also key. You will be confident when presenting to groups and facilitating meetings, possess strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to liaise assuredly with senior level professionals across the Further Education sector.
