Position: Bar Supervisor
Sites: The Felin Fach Griffin, nr Brecon

Pay: £19,250 Pay is weekly in arrears. Full team benefits available.
Hours: Full time, five days a week. Mixture of split shifts and single long shifts.
Start date: Immediate. Position is permanent.
Accomm.
None available on site but available locally. A driving licence would be useful. Limited public transport.
Experience:
Must demonstrate experience of equivalent Inn or Restaurant at least at Assistant Bar Supervisor level. Good knowledge of drinks offering (incl. wine) is necessary. Will need to demonstrate awareness of good financial practice, including stock taking and wage control.
Good cellar practices must be demonstrated.
Understanding of seasonality in relation to drinks and not just food to be demonstrated and usage of the products from our organically certified kitchen garden preferred.
Will require good supervisory and leadership skills and will be tasked with developing the bar & floor team. WSET qualification would be preferred at least to level 2 but not necessary as internal and external training will be given to the successful candidate.
Holder of Personal Licence preferred.
Reports to: Sam Crowley, Assistant General Manager & Specialist Beverage Buyer

Reviewed annually within annual review. Training requirements reviewed at the same time, which may include wine (WSET), cellar, H&S, food hygiene and, for managers: training in financials, leadership, HR, negotiation, communication etc.
