Contact Centre Agent

Lloyd Recruitment Services, the East Grinstead branch has a fantastic job for an experienced Customer Service - Contact Centre Agent to join a very well established and reputable large employer based in the East Grinstead, West Sussex area.

The main purpose of the Contact Centre Agent job will be answering and dealing with customer inbound calls, providing an excellent customer service at all times to promote and sell a range of the company services and products, handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints to the required standards.

** Start date - Our client would like candidates to start on 19th September 2017. Due to training - candidates unfortunately cant take annual leave between 19 Sept and 13 Oct due to the training programme

** Hours - 35 hour working week - Monday to Friday - The call centre operates from 8.45am to 6.00pm

** Benefits include: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, annual bonus scheme, pension etc.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

• Handling incoming calls from customers, updating their information, dealing with queries and when required promoting the company's services
• Provide a high level customer advice and information service to existing and potential customers
• Support and assist colleagues through sharing of knowledge and experience in a "Buddy" environment to ensure a quality service to customers is maintained.
• Take ownership of own personal development, maintaining an up to date knowledge of products, services, systems and procedures necessary to carry out the role.

Skills and experience required for the role:

• Previous experience of customer service within a Call/Contact Centre environment.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
