Ihre Aufgaben
-With nominal guidance from Director, develops and researches new technologies for sealing applications-Participates as a team member on various product development projects-Leads product development projects, overseeing timing, resources and technical progress in accordance to the TIP / PDP development process-Consideration of commercial impact during whole product development process-Conducts project alignment meetings with representatives from Sales, Engineering Managers, Technical Directors and LC/Division Management, etc.-Participates in conducting failure analysis of various sealing products and become a go-to expert in current sealing technologies. Performs tools (i.e. DFMEA, VA/VE) in Lean systems environment-Utilizes and directs off site engineering office for all CAD and routine FEA / CFD analyses required in the course of the projects-Generates necessary test requests and oversees their timely completion and supports testing-Originates, and leads the design and implementation of unique tests in order to develop innovative sealing technologies and products-Writes technical reports and maintains proper documentation-Writes and presents technical papers and presentations internally and externally-Archives his knowledge and expertise and shares it with FST colleagues

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:-Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent International degrees-Strong desire and aptitude to become an expert in development and research of products made of elastomers and metal / plastic / elastomer composites, such as dynamic seals, gaskets, vibration isolation components, elastomeric bearings, etc.-Strong analytical skills, capable of working in cross-functional team environment and willing to challenge existing practices-Project Management experience and software skills-Good verbal and written communication skills-Good interpersonal skills-Customer service oriented philosophyPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:-Additional advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering disciplines- 5 years of experience in product design and engineering with rubber- 5 years of experience in product development and project management-Knowledge and experience in dynamic and static sealing design and application-Familiarity with computer-aided engineering tools and analysis tools-Preferably knowledge and experience in sealing technologiesInternal applicants: Please complete a self nomination form and send to your Division HR Lead, along with a copy of your resume.
