Role Profile

- First Line Managers will be accountable for the day to day management of the Warehouse shift including managing resource, allocating tasks, service level achievement, and compliance. Other accountabilities within this role to include:
- Responsibility for all issues relating to Health & Safety and the Environment during shift
- Support team leaders and colleagues through excellent communication and active leadership
- Ensure co-ordination and handover management between shifts
- Translate, analyse and deliver customer needs through effective operations
- Ensure resource availability and skilled trained resource
- Deliver consistent service levels seeking to exceed customer expectations
- Effective leadership, management and communication with all warehouse departments
- Responsible for ensuring high levels of excellence in culture and behaviours
- Display a 'can do' attitude to enhance motivation of team
- Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
- Engage with and treat employees with respect and promote diversity
- Recognise and proactively manage continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure all internal / external KPI's are achieved and regularly reviewed
- Improve Costs and KPIs within the HDC Department
