Sales Manager

This role requires the individual to sell branded content and display across print and digital platforms, event sponsorship and thought leadership to media agencies and clients across UK and Europe. This is a sales role not an account management role and there will be a large amount of business development required. You’ll need an entrepreneurial spirit, the ability to think strategically with tenacity, drive and passion. This a huge opportunity for the right candidate to be part of the relaunch of one of the most iconic media brands of the twentieth century.

You will need to:

  • Identify and prioritise global business opportunities for the company
  • To sell global revenue partnerships to clients and agencies – across the portfolio of media brands and markets
  • Lead a portfolio of new business agencies and clients, focusing on building and growing advertising partnerships

You should have:

  • An ability to demonstrate the exceptional connection between our brands and clients’ brands and audiences with strategic and innovative ideas delivering scale and efficiency
  • Adept at growing client relationships for long term growth
  • A network of existing contacts amongst a wide number of clients and agencies

You must be able to:

  • Work with the creative team to develop bespoke, partnership solutions
  • Foster an inclusive spirit across the team and the wider business
  • Collaborate effectively to leverage strong internal resources (creative, digital, print sales) both in the UK and internationally to maximize revenue results

The ideal candidate:

  • Demonstrate excellent senior agency and client relationships with corresponding black book
  • Proven experience and skills at new business development
  • Strong diplomatic skills with history of building friendships and relationships across all levels of colleagues in multiple countries and businesses
  • Proven experience in international media, selling global partnership campaigns
  • Experience in print and digital sales both creative and display and preferably in the international market
  • Innovative and creative approach to building proposals and attracting sales
  • Experience in portfolio selling
  • Highly self-motivated with proven history of meeting and exceeding performance targets and KPIs
  • Energetic person with excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to understand and speak a second language is not essential but would be an
  • advantage
