Technical Sales Personality with previous sales experience and experience of pumps or other related chemical fluid handling products is needed for our client, one of the world's leading manufacturers of liquid dosing pumps, dosing systems and diaphragm gas compressors. They are an independent international family-run company with approximately 220 staff members. To them, quality, customer orientation and customer proximity are not only goals but form the basis of their activities.

They offer a great opportunity for sales person from a technical / engineering background as Branch & Sales Manager in the regions Birmingham, Leicester, or Peterborough.

Your tasks:

  • Acquisition by active sales of their products and services
  • Supporting, consulting and visiting existing customers
  • Responsibility for continued sales growth and within an established client base and identifying and acquiring new customers
  • Developing further their distribution network in the UK
  • Carrying out negotiations with their customers
  • Opportunity to take control and responsibility for the future development of the team

Your Profile:

  • Existing Area Sales Manager or similar experience
  • Experience of pumps or other related chemical fluid handling products. Consideration will also be given to candidates with an appropriate technical background looking to move into a senior sales role
  • Experience with dosing pump applications is desirable
  • Graduate engineer favourable but not mandatory
  • Willingness to develop yourself to take responsibility for the growth of the UK sales team
  • Ability to develop an existing territory and expand our customer database
  • Team-player with excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Excellent PC skills (MS Office)
