Servicing Project Manager (Contract)
Exeter, Devon (office/field based, with travel to sites throughout Devon and Cornwall)
£27,500 - £30,800 per annum Plus Car Allowance (£1,800 per annum), 26 Days’ Holiday (rising to 30 with service)

Our client is a leading not-for-profit organisation that builds, manages and maintains homes for people across the South West. Due to the development of their team, they’re now looking for a Servicing Project Manager to join their Servicing Department on a contract lasting up to 12 months.

As the Servicing Project Manager, you will ensure that our client provides efficient, high-quality servicing and maintenance programmes.
In this key role, you will manage all contracts and contractor relations and take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of a range of servicing and maintenance activities.
Specifically, you will:
- Supervise and administer contracts with service providers
- Prepare and compile specifications and contract documentation for tendering
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure that work is of a high standard
- Manage and report on the servicing and maintenance budget
- Ensure that tenants are consulted and regularly updated regarding work
- Comply with H&S plans and provide risk assessments
To be considered, you will need:
- Experience of delivering multiple services and projects on-time and within budget, including budget planning and reporting
- Previous experience of letting and managing maintenance contracts and service providers, including developing formal specifications, contracts and technical information and managing H&S
- Domestic dwelling experience, from a technical management perspective
- Procurement experience, including contract tendering
- Experience of an asset management and surveying function, gained within an RSL, local or public authority or private practice
- Knowledge of H&S legislation regarding housing management and the construction industry, including CDM and HHSRS
- A full, valid driving licence
Customer-focused and organised, as the Servicing Project Manager, you’ll be able to analyse information, make informed judgements and effectively appraise the performance of others. Excellent planning and prioritisation skills are also key.
