GBP23.98 per hour to GBP26.26 per hour depending on experience (this rate includes prep time and holiday) plus HE uplift.

University Centre Peterborough (UCP) is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and well-qualified VHL (Variable Hours Lecturer) to contribute to our delivery of the BA (Hons) English Literature degree.

We primarily require a lecturer with appropriate expertise to lead our level 5 modules on the Romantics and Victorians, with three hours' teaching split over two days in lecture/seminar format for 24 weeks between September and June. There may be opportunities to contribute to other modules, depending on additional needs and the expertise of the appointed candidate.

You will be committed to working with a team and to providing a high quality learner experience for our students. A postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject, with detailed knowledge of both periods, is essential. Previous experience of teaching in Higher Education is also desirable.
