Teacher of Geography
Are you Physical or Human Geography led? Do you love educating secondary school students in aid of developing their full Geography potential? This is going to be an exciting opportunity for you to apply for.
I am working with a client who has a FULL TIME vacancy starting in September 2017, in an enthusiastic secondary school, based on the outskirts of Newcastle city centre. The school is set nearby excellent road links in the A1 and A167 and can be accessed through regular public transportation, meaning Geography specialists from Tyneside, North Tyneside, Northumberland, South Tyneside, Wearside, Durham, Teesside and Redcar should all consider this applying for this opportunity due to the simple commute.
You, as our ideal candidate will have the following qualities:
*Qualified teaching status (newly qualified teaching status applicant are welcome to apply!)
*Confident and passionate in teaching Geography up to Key Stage Five (KS5)
*Be motived in developing Key Stage Three (KS3) and Key Stage Four (KS4) students at GCSE level.
*Self-confident in their communication with colleagues and peers both 1 to 1 and in group activities.
You will be teaching Geography to KS3, KS4 and KS5 to pupils who have selected Geography for their GCSE's and A-Levels. You will be required to plan your lessons, teach your students with passion and grade the work in good time.
