The role is key to the efficient delivery of lunch time activity in the college. You will work within a small team of lunchtime supervisors, to ensure students receive their meals in an organised and timely manner. You must be able to communicate effectively with their students and the staff who support them.

You need to be able to follow instructions from the staff /students about the best way to help them take their lunches and be flexible in your approach, working consistently with established strategies for some students who have particular behavioural needs. This is a rewarding role for anyone who is positive about disability and helping students achieve their goals.

They are a specialist residential college based in Birmingham. They offer education, support, and guidance for students with moderate to severe learning disabilities, physical disabilities, visual impairment and students on the autistic spectrum.

They are committed to safeguarding and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful applicant will need to complete a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure before taking up the role.

The role is 39 weeks a year, 1 and 3/4 hours a day, Monday to Friday.

Salary: National Minimum Wage
