The Account Manager will report into the Senior Commercial Manager.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

As an Account Manager, you'll be responsible for the following:

  • Take and understand briefs/directions from customers
  • Establish requirements of brief/direction
  • Challenge customer briefs to ensure best possible solution for customer
  • Provide accurate and profitable estimations for projects
  • Evaluate projects on ongoing basis in terms of delivery, quality, and profitability
  • Effectively distribute Customer feedback.
  • Identify risks to delivery and escalate to manager
  • Comply with reporting procedures and ensure all practices and systems are followed under the ISO, FSC and PEFC Accreditation
  • Assist, support and initiate in areas where you are non-revenue accountable, including brainstorms, team meetings and make a positive contribution to maintain the company's image and personality
  • Ensure all client invoicing is produced accurately and in time of agreed and customer deadlines
  • Ensure absolute accuracy of monthly budget summary
  • Achieve monthly budget
  • Ensure purchase orders are obtained for all projects in a timely manner
  • Confirm all disputes in writing and inform manager
  • Ensure the provision of internal Account Management are of a quality consistent with their standards
  • Develop and maintain a professional relationship with customers and ensure external Account Management are regularly informed of status progress and issues

Product Knowledge

Demonstrate a competent understanding of their services, including:

  • Litho Print
  • Digital Print
  • Web to Print
  • Storage and Fulfilment

Skills & Educational Requirements:

  • You will have sufficient training, experience, knowledge and other qualities to act as their competent person
  • You will need to have networking skills to coordinate with other staff, clients and suppliers.
  • Computer literate, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • A valid UK driving licence is essential
