The role

Our client, a leading player in the mortgage industry, is looking for 20 Trainee Mortgage and Protection Advisers to join its busy, but rewarding team in Bath. Learning and thinking on your feet, you'll deliver a first class service to your customers providing them with the most suitable financial advice, generating consistently high levels of activity to achieve agreed performance targets. You'll enjoy the opportunity to deal with a range of customer enquiries and delight in finding the perfect mortgage solution for each individual customer. Fully and clearly documenting all calls and correspondence in a timely manner, you'll build long-lasting relationships with your customers based on trust and confidence. You'll work towards Mortgage and Protection Adviser status by achieving required monitored call levels and obtaining full CeMAP 1, 2 and 3 certification.

Your exceptional communication skills will see you communicate clearly and concisely on the phone and in writing with clients, colleagues and business contacts alike, while your desire to do your utmost for your customers will drive everything you do. You're someone who thrives on deadlines, quickly prioritising what needs to be done and making confident, effective decisions. A real team player, you build strong working relationships with others and enjoy coaching and supporting others.

The training

You'll initially attend a six week training course that will encompass the CeMAP 1 qualification along with in-depth training on our systems and processes. Following the successful completion of the training course, you'll receive ongoing development from industry experts, sales coaches and management with on-the-job training and regular performance reviews. The complete CeMAP Qualification will also be fully funded once you have been signed off of probation and become a permanent member of staff.
