What you will be doing

Newspapers aren't just newspapers anymore. Readers now engage with newsbrands 6 times a day using multiple devices including; mobile, desktop, apps, Facebook and Twitter. In fact, the Manchester Evening News is one of the top 25 Facebook publishers worldwide! With this in mind, you will be responsible for:

• Growing advertising revenues and driving profit across a portfolio of print and digital products
• Proactively identifying and target new clients via cold calling and market intelligence
• Nurturing and developing existing relationships with key advertisers
• Identifying customer needs with consultative approach and propose a comprehensive advertising solution
• * Guaranteeing a high quality of customer service is delivered each time

You will have:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong negotiation skills and closing abilities
• Demonstrable ability to target and secure new business
• Self-motivation, tenacity and the drive to succeed in a competitive environment
