About the role

This is a new and exciting post at Bath Spa University within a key professional services department. This is a highly proactive role based within Student Services.  The remit is to work collaboratively across the University to identify, develop and deliver induction and ongoing training programmes for all users of student related systems.

The post will support the development of best practice around data quality and reporting and will ensure that all student-related systems are robustly tested and utilised to their fullest potential.

About you (requirements)

This post requires a proven professional administrator with relevant training, development and delivery experience, ideally within a Higher Education setting.  Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will use your excellent communication and organisational skills to build lasting relationships and liaise and negotiate with a variety of staff across the University.  You will be able to tailor your training output to meet the demands and make-up of your audience, and you should be equally at home delivering guidance on a one-to-one basis as to larger groups and teams.

This post combines many elements and so requires a highly motivated and inquisitive individual, with the ability to use their own initiative within a department that has a strong team ethos. You will manage your own training and projects, while always keeping in mind the key points of the student cycle that the Service is responsible for.
