DAY MATRON VACANCIES

Required for September 2017, Cheltenham College is seeking to fill a number of full and part-time Day Matron positions. The role of Day Matron is an important and highly rewarding position, requiring dedication and commitment, providing first class pastoral support to boarders within thriving boarding houses.

Our boarding houses offer outstanding pastoral care to boarders and their families on a full and flexible basis, 7 days a week. Located very close to the main College buildings, the Houses combine the very best of traditional boarding with the latest approaches to flexibility. Boarding at College contributes greatly to the sense of belonging and homeliness, which runs all the way through our community.

Applicants should be organised, with a flexible and willing attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and an aptitude for dealing with young people in a close environment.

Salary will be on the College's own scale, dependent upon experience. Various full and part time positions are available and details of the spread of hours and duties will be discussed at interview stage. Please indicate in your cover letter what hours you would be looking for.
