The Company
Aseptika started in 2010 and we are about to enter the next phase of our development. Currently in our third generation of integrated medical monitoring systems, we utilise a range of platforms and/or devices to enable technology-based Self-Care of complex conditions for healthcare providers and their patients.
Our Activ8rlives system (www.activ8rlives.com) focuses on respiratory and cardiovascular disease, cancer, promoting physical activity and weight management. Aseptika is part of the Spirit Family of Companies (www.spirit-healthcare.co.uk) - a UK headquartered SME.
The Role
Your key responsibility will be to provide innovative, practical and technical leadership from development through to delivering our next generation of wearable medical devices (patent applied for). You will be joining a small dedicated team and work in partnership with the Software/Electronics Technical Director. You will be expected to develop professional relationships with external agencies/multi-disciplinary teams to enable a rapid prototyping, design for manufacture and into production.
The Person
You will have been employed in a senior technical role for a minimum of 3 - 5 years. You will have broad, hands-on experience and a proven track record of hardware and mechanical design solutions in the development and production of medical devices. You will have worked as part of a team, with external agencies and hands-on CAD. You will have strong interpersonal skills that are both influencing and engaging. You will be driven to achieve results and have a can-do attitude. You will need to have driving licence and be able to travel nationally when required, but with only occasional international travel.
