Head Chef / Kitchen Manager
Our client is looking for an experienced and qualified Head Chef to organise the kitchen's activities. You will be the first in command in the facilities and will create and inspect dishes before they arrive at the customers ensuring high quality and contentment.
Key responsibilities:
• Overall responsibility for daily operations in the kitchen
• Liaising with purchasing companies for food orders
• Maintaining or raising the profit margins on food
• Producing menus and new dishes
• Managing, training and recruiting a brigade of chefs
• Ensuring correct ordering is carried out and food managed correctly
Requirements
• Proven experience as head chef
• Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management
• Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills
• Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimised kitchen processes
• Credentials in health and safety training
