Part time Receptionist
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist to join our team in Norwich and we are looking for an enthusiastic, helpful individual to lead the way in welcoming our clients and their animals into our practice.
We are located at Sprowston Retail Park where there is plenty of free parking and great transport links. Our practice is bright, spacious, air-conditioned and purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities. We are the largest practice in our region, with our on-site team comprising 50 heads and we are dedicated to providing world class clinical care at the heart of our community.
In the role of Receptionist you can expect to carry out the following duties:

Managing appointment bookings and client registration both face to face and by telephone, in a professional and efficient manner using the in-practice database system.

Receiving and welcome clients and the patients for appointments, being sensitive to their needs and promoting a professional image at all times.

Maintaining and grow product and services knowledge and be able to advise clients and sell these when appropriate.

Working with other members of the team to ensure that the reception and other areas of the practice are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and are presentable at all times.

Assuming responsibilities for managing patient Health Care Plans, Insurance Claims, record keeping and general administration duties.
As this is a busy and demanding role you must be computer literate and able to cope well under pressure.
Person Specification
Rob and Riaan, our partners, are looking for a warm, friendly individual with strong communication skills. You will be someone who enjoys helping others and have a genuine interest in providing an outstanding service for our animals and clients, every single time. Previous receptionist experience would be advantageous however the necessary training will be provided for the right candidate.
This a part time role working 21 hours per week, with a 1 in 4 weekend rota. We are looking for an element of flexibility as the successful candidate will be expected to provide holiday cover throughout the year.
