L'Arche is a vibrant, faith-based charity supporting people with learning disabilities in and around Bognor Regis, in residential, supported living and day services.
We are looking to employ a full time or two part time Live-out Male Care Assistants.
Salary Band between GBP7.50 ph and GBP7.85 ph depending on experience. We provide excellent induction, training and pension.
The role involves working within a team which will support six people with learning disabilities living in one of our Registered Care Homes called Jericho House.
The current supported people with learning disabilities living in the house expressed a desire to have someone "caring, kind and helpful", "does the job properly", someone who can be "helpful and wants to go with us on the house retreat", "someone "responsible and can keep track of the diary". - to be passionate about enabling people with learning disabilities to grow and able to offer person centred support
- be a strong communicator
- possess a desire to be a member of an ecumenical, Christian community
