We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Repairs Manager to join our team based in Sutton.
Within this role, you will manage all responsive repair maintenance at the branch from planning through to delivery works and all aspects of Health and Safety.
Monitoring and controlling work with the effective use of Mears management systems, you will review completed work and applying for payment within framework guidelines. Candidates for this position will supervise and monitor planning of Operatives diaries to ensure right first-time fix appointments are upheld.
You will monitor the progress and completion of works from the Operatives and Sub-Contractors within the requirements of the contract, guaranteeing KPIs are achieved.
In addition, you will manage the use of the Operatives/Sub-Contractors ensuring certain they adhere to both Client and Company standards of work performance, health and safety, customer service and procedures.
In order to be successful in this role, you will hold a Trade qualification coupled with knowledge of Housing Repairs, measured term contracts and schedule of rates.
With previous experience of working in Social Housing and supervising Operatives and Sub-Contractors, you will be an effective communicator with strong organisational skills.
Previous experience of working in partnership with a Local Authority Client is also essential, along with management experience in a similar role. With previous knowledge of working as a manager in a customer service environment, you will be able to manage projects successfully whilst developing and delivering service improvements. A proficient user of IT, you will be experienced in using Microsoft Excel coupled with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.
Candidates for this role must hold a full driving licence.
