We are currently recruiting for a temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk on full-time temporary basis. You will be working in a team of 3 in the head office of a family run business.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

* Processing a high volume of invoices ranging from high to low values
* Raise purchase orders
* Look up and solve any queries that may be raised
* Establish the branch owner of orders that are raised
* Send orders through for approval and order numbers
* Send invoices for payment
* Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries for suppliers
* Balance items on the ledger to the statements
* File all paperwork including purchase invoices, credit notes etc
* Resolving queries both internally and externally
* Reconciling suppliers statement and dealing with queries

Skills, qualifications and experience required:

* Previous experience in a similar role
* Experience on Excel (Vlookup, Pivot Tables) and all other Microsoft packages
* Excellent attention to detail
* A high level of written and oral communication skills
* Prior experience of processing large volumes of data/invoices
